Thomas Pluck writes unflinching fiction with heart. He lives in New Jersey with this wife and two cats. When not writing, he powerlifts, trains in mixed-martial arts, and subsists on crazy comfort food and craft beer. He’s a computer geek now, but has worked on the docks, at construction sites, and has flipped burgers, washed dishes, and even cleaned the crappers at the Guggenheim museum. His debut novel, Blade of Dishonor, was called “hard-core clean writing delivered at warp speed” by Andrew Vachss, and “The Raiders of the Lost Ark of pulp paperbacks by BookPeople. His work has appeared in the Utne Reader, [PANK] Magazine, Needle: A Magazine of Noir, Criminal Element, and numerous anthologies. He writes restaurant reviews for Devil Gourmet, and he is also the editor of Protectors: Stories to Benefit PROTECT, which includes “Runaway” by Dave White, chosen as a distinguished story in Best American Mystery Stories 2013.
